there was this guy and his name was Ray. some people were a little confused and thought it was Ray Charles, but unfortunately that Ray's dead. the Ray i'm referring to is Ray Lamontagne. he was the 2nd opening act for Badly Drawn Boy and you can hear one of the songs he played at the show at All Songs Considered website.

i paid to go see Badly Drawn Boy, but the show was three performances for the price of one. to top it off, it was at a small venue. sometimes i wonder why i even try to go see the shows at the larger venues any more.
